We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our team.

 

Our chain of Rural stores consists of Poowong Dairy and Hardware, Yarragon Rural Supplies, and Bunyip Rural Supplies. All of our shops work together consistently, to bring the best customer experience and service possible, stocking a range of useful rural supplies to local communities.

 

About the role

 

The successful applicant will have exceptional people skills, strong initiative, ability to work as part of a team, as well as having the ability to work unsupervised. Experience in the rural industry would be preferred but is not essential. A manual Driver’s license will be required as this role will undertake deliveries. A forklift license is preferred or a willingness to obtain one will be acceptable. The position is for 20 hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, plus every third Saturday morning for 3 hours.

 

This position involves regular manual handling and a satisfactory Pre Placement Medical Assessment will be a condition of employment.
